Spirit Guides: What Are They and What Do They Do?

I just met one of my spirit guides. Her name is Stella. She’s a bad ass. She was waiting for me on a bench. She had bangs. She was so encouraging. When you said that they answer your question before you even finish it, it’s so true. Her answer would go through my mind before I even had the chance to finish my question.

I’ve always had the concept of guides throughout my entire life. I remember losing something as a kid, and being “told” that I should imagine a rope tied around my waist to pull me to the object. As long as I obeyed the rope, & let go of my rationale mind, I found the thing every time. I grew up catching, & caring for turtles, & my guides place them into my life as an animal, or item (like turtle shaped jewelry someone was once wearing at a funeral) that I’ll recognize. It’s their way of communicating that they hear me, & are with me. Synchronicities are another big way they communicate. I have an intuitive sense that most are family members while others are people I’ve never met, some of other races to help me learn spiritual principles love for people as a whole.

I love the internet and you and channels like this, that allow us the liberty to communicate freely and engage with others who experience similar experiences and feelings. Offering confidence and reassurance that what we are experiencing isn’t an independent run of the mil situation. But a constant reoccurrence throughout our generations and universe. I had 4 of my Spirit Guide reveal themselves with me. I’m so happy because now I know who the Freak I’ve been talking to a guiding me all along. Watching you, I’m like shocked like, she’s not keeping this stuff a secret all to herself, it’s okay to talk about it…of course one has to have the confidence and security in themselves not to be swayed by negative energy/spirits and vibrations. Hey! Your videos helped me very much ! I have a question I have ocd and while doing shadow work one aspect of me was where I was afraid that ppl would leave me and while working through it I started getting more and more intrusive thoughts like that . My brain makes unwanted thoughts that are not nice about them that I dont even mean, each time I try to communicate with them I start to get this fear and I end up giving up. I can sometimes feel her energy its very calm. I was told in many tarot readings that she's a woman . As badly as I want to appreciate her and talk to her.... I just don't find the right way. First of all if you haven’t already, start meditating every day because it will raise your vibes and help you with this. However there are times in life where many of us and perhaps this includes you, need to get some therapy to help deal with some of the stuff that’s causing the intrusive thoughts that’s causing the OCD to flare up etc. I had to go to several years of therapy to get my trauma issues resolved and my PTSD under control. And I now know that my OCD flares up mainly when I am overwhelmed or stressed or just haven’t been taking care of myself. No I’m not saying all of that applies to you, but I’m saying that perhaps in order to move forward to a higher level or in a better way, you may need to look at other options to help get you there. And that might include getting some professional help, which is nothing to be ashamed of. Just food for thought.

Hello there. Well I think there are a few reasons for that possibly. First of all, we have free will so if we choose to stick around because we aren’t ready to go for one reason or another we can. Second of all, sometimes you can get so low vibrationally that you can’t hear your guides and angels. And that doesn’t necessarily disappear like a cloud after dying. So even if they are there, you can’t necessarily hear them. It all eventually works out and resolves. No one stays in that situation forever. Off the top of my head, those are my thoughts. You’re right, perhaps in the future I will do a video on that. Thanks!

Just realized I forgot to answer your second question! :) According to my understanding, your higher self is the higher version of your soul that has many extensions which form into various lifetimes. It forms these lifetimes in order to give itself experiences that bring balance. This higher self is near the divine and is full of wisdom and love.

That’s called channeling and you can offer to become a channeler and if spirit thinks that’s what is in your highest interest then you can. But you really need to make sure that your energy is high enough to attract high vibrating beings, and that you’re only letting positive beings inside of you, because you don’t wanna end up with some type of possession.

Hi. Angels are benevolent beings in service to the divine. They are not a soul or a human entity. When people die they don’t become angels etc. spirit guides are souls. They may or may not have ever had an incarnation on this planet. they may be on other planets. either way they are a soul that has the potential to incarnate. One that we would think of as a “human being “. We choose who we want to be our spirit guides before we incarnate into this lifetime. Their job is to help guide us and encourage us and to try to help us meet all of the goals we had set out for ourselves in this life. In the angel realm there are Different levels or job assignments if you will. Everyone is assigned their own personal angel which is probably what you’re referring to as a helper Angel. And then they also have a guardian angel assigned to them and if there’s any need the helper Angel calls out to the guardian angel and they show up to protect you. If it’s really big trouble they call on the big guns which are the archangels. This is a pretty simplified! I hope it helps.

“God” is just the term I am used to using. I sometimes also say “the universe “ or “the divine”. Many people call that main source of all many different things. No, none of this has anything to do with religion because religion is a man made construct that was manipulated over the centuries to control the people. Being an atheist would mean you don’t believe in anything and if you believe in the universe and some greater power at play in that way, perhaps “atheist” isn’t the correct term for you. I don’t think labels matter anyways. I say start meditating every single day. I have a video on that if you’re interested. When you meditate consistently, your vibes will begin to rise and your journey will start. I hope this helps. PS... your guides are there whether you believe in them or not. ☺️ However, if you claim to not believe, they may stay a bit more in the background in order to respect your free will. If your mind begins to open to the possibility of their existence and you begin asking about them or talking to them, they may make themselves more known. ❤️

There’s no issue with that. Do you have free will and you can decide to believe or not believe in anything you want. But just because you don’t believe in it doesn’t mean it doesn’t actually exist. 😉 you’re just not forced to believe in it. That doesn’t mean that it has to be the Christian God. Or the Muslim Allah. It can just be a force greater than yourself. Something that divinely orchestrated the creation of all that is and continues to move on your behalf and the greater good. It can be whatever you want it to be.

Is it possible that if you call upon one God or Godess its not that God who comes but your spirit guides? I worship a hindu Godess called Tripura Sundari. The thing is when I have visions about her, she doesn't look like in the hindu paintings but as a blond woman who look like the ascended master called Lady Nada.

Anything is possible. And keep in mind that many religions have taken information, changed it and made it their own. Often they are worshiping the same “god” but their version really has nothing to do with the real God. Does that make sense? I’m not saying that’s definitely what’s happening, just keep it in mind. If you’re calling on a specific entity and it shows up looking differently, as long as there are no red flags then roll with it.

She doesn't tell me I am the best or tells specific things about the future or behaves rude. She just tells me.stuff about emotional work that I have to do, or if I have to take an important decision. But if I ask something like " will I marry a guy who is from this or that country?" 😂 she never answers those kind of things. She just shows suport and love. Its just that sometimes while meditating, I may get like a vision about the Deity I worship and she doesnt look like in hindu paintings. Thanks a lot for your explanation, its true that people takes a Deity and over time make it their own even if the original deity was.completely diferent. But as long as they call upon light spirits I guess light is gonna show up.

Why do I need more than one guid ?

You will have a varying number of guides as you move throughout your life depending on what you have going on. You’ll have at least one main guide your whole life. Then you will have a series of other guides that will work with you in specific topics or projects. And if you have specific things come up you can have temporary guides that consult in, if you will. For example, if you become a student you may have a guide come in that’s a teacher in that subject. Or a guide who helps you focus. If you develop a medical issue, you may have a guide come into your team that’s specializes in medical.

Most often those people that you’ve cared about and have passed away do you hang around you and they watch over you but they’re not one of your spirit guides. But it’s not impossible. They won’t be your main guide but they could possibly be one of your other guides. But it’s more likely that he just is still around and watches over you.

Okay. How about Richie Valens? Where was his spirit guide when he was killed in an airplane crash at 17? Clearly his spirit guide didn't protect him from the crash. One doesn't get the sense that Richie was even close to completing his "mission" (with which a guide will supposedly help). Rather, it seems he was just getting started. Or are you going to tell me that the spirit guide was dropping hints or messages, but Richie either didn't catch them or wasn't paying attention? (Yes, but isn't it in the guide's power to MAKE the message obvious?) Another question that haunts me: how is it that they supposedly "protect' in some cases but not in others? What makes a situation "worthy of intervention" in one case, but not the other? These guides apparently don't intervene in cases of little girls or boys being raped. ("We love you so much that we're going to let that happen to you so that, by being raped, you hopefully will develop compassion and your spirit of forgiveness toward your rapists.") Is this, roughly speaking, the motivation for NOT intervening, protecting? Where does "free will" come in with respect to the girl getting raped? Does she have a choice as to whether or not she gets raped? Why intervene at all, at any time, since we can (in principle) learn from EVERY calamity? Moreover, must the growth of compassion depend on being raped? Why must one be raped in order to develop compassion? Why not intervene in that case, and let the child develop compassion by exposing him/her to milder situations, as is the case with most people? Let's put the matter differently: how can it be meaningfully said that guides or angels care for/love those children? Maybe by "protection" you DON'T mean intervention at all. Maybe all these "guides" offer is a kind of wisdom or clarity that better equips us to deal with all the challenging things that happen (if only we could be sensitive enough to pick up on them). But even if that were the case, I still don't like spirit guides, as they don't protect, say, children from abuses. Children are often helpless and have done nothing to deserve ill treatment.
