I think I’m gonna try this out, but modify the voice box to where when he senses motion, it would automatically activate the voice box and time the phrases up with the movement. I’m also hoping to wire the voice box directly to his board to get power as soon as you plug him in. Hoping it works out 🤞🏼

I was thinking of something similar 😅. I was thinking of splitting his audio up and then having the voice box and the animatronic activate at the same time with a step pad. Now if you got a Picoboo or if you are good with an Arduino you could reprogram his animation to run at the same time as his audio.

@@cornhuskerhorrorcollector6004 Yeah! I was going to do it the hard way… play his current phrase and edit the one of John speaking to time it up with the movement. May have to slow it down a little but I think it’ll work.

@@cornhuskerhorrorcollector6004Okay, so when I try and add the voice files, it says I’m out of space? I formatted the scream box, but it says my files are a total of 24.9MB when it only holds 8? How did you fit the whole 2 + min on there? Mine don’t even total to be 2min lol

@@halloweeenhauntguy Sorry for the late reply. That's weird, it let me put both of the clips on there just fine. I’ve had mine for a year so the guy selling them might have changed it unfortunately. Perhaps try cropping the tracks a little. There is something similar on Amazon that holds up to four minutes, that one however doesn't come with a button or a light option. If you cannot get them on there then you should be able to return it for a refund.

@@cornhuskerhorrorcollector6004 I ended up getting it to work! Just had to compress the size of the files.. they were way to big. Question - when you unplug yours, will it start at the same phrase every time? That’s the only issue I’m having now. I trimmed the phrases to last as long as every movement on the prop, but it won’t work if it doesn’t start off at the first phrase every time I unplug it and plug it back in.

change the Original motor for a Reindeer motor too. that way it Oscillates continuously

I used a sound module that has all of his old phrases. It, unfortunately, doesn't play at the same time as his animation but it works well enough for me.

Also are you using a scream box? Doesn’t that have a motion sensor? Wonder if you could turn the original voice down while keeping the motion sensor for the animatronic on, so you’ll have 2 separate motion sensors (1 for the scream box voice and 1 for the animatronic’s movement motion sensor). Probably wouldn’t be perfectly synced up but it could be cool

@@logandumont Correct, I just turned down the volume on the animatronic.

@@logandumont It is a Scream Box. I personally think it would work better to have both the Scream Box and the animatronic activate at the same time with a try me button or a step pad.

I just got him not a huge fan on how short his arms are if you know what I mean

I’m personally not too bothered with his arms, however, his legs annoy me 😅.
