I have both and have to say the 2011 just looks creepy and the voice is perfect. 2024 really dropped the ball on the voice. The 2011 looks like a solid prop and overall much better looking

I gotta pick the new one the old one just has so many issues with its overall look that people are looking over, but hey I still like him, but in my opinion the new one has a great animation and hit it out of the park!

I think the robe holds the new one back, give him a different one and they're pretty on par. Also, the 2024 has the machete because that's Fun World/Costume Ghostface's signature weapon.

Both have their ups and downs, the main complaints I have with the new one is the fact you cant put a glove on the hand holding the knife, I wanted to costume swaps and that one hand kinda kills it lol, second complaint is the fact that theres music and screams, if it was just the voice lines and slashing it'd be great My problem with the gemmy animatronic is all the maintenance you need to go through, the rarity, price, and that disproportionate arm and the awkward movement of it.

If the new one had a better robe, a more realistic knife, and a slightly better mask, It would be even better than the 2011 in my opinion. Both are amazing, though!

Do you mean perfect as in better than the Gemmy one? Because the Gemmy one collapses, has more movements, comes with a compatible phone for activation, structurally built better, etc. you literally cannot beat the original.

I actually have to go with the new one. I always felt that the old one was overhyped. I do have nostalgia for it since I saw it in stores back in 2011, but I don't think it really stands out as much as the new one does. It has the same movement that many other Gemmy props had from around the same time. The LED eyes are also a...not so good addition that didn't need to be there. The only thing the old one had going for it was the compatibility with the Scream telephone sold separately. I like how the new one is on the attack and has a type of jumpscare integrated into it. I think the costume is better too since there's been issues with 2011 Ghostfaces having torn up robes. I think overall, the 2024 version takes the win.
