I haven't watched the other YT channels you speak of, but I will say a few things about your Code Oranges: That (A) you've provided a great community service showing us what various stores have on their shelves.(B) your reviews has taught me to look more critically at the Halloween props in the stores. and (C) many gnomes have been smacked (D) and you've raised awareness to avoid herpes infected glitter props. It's good that the animatronics and quality of Halloween props has upped the game of the consumer-level prop industry, but the stores that display them is kind of bad that the surprises have already been spoiled by the time Halloween comes around all the kids have already seen what you have in your haunt... they're not "impressed" by something they've already seen; that is why I like to make my own custom props because I know the kids haven't seen what I've got in my haunt.

The other channels pop up in my feed so I'm assaulted with them for doing them, lol, fair enough. Just looking at some of thier fake thumbnails just piss me off so it's time to quit. I always show what's in the store in the thumbnail. I always like to show what's in stores and what us crap so folks aren't wasting time and money with decor especially if It's bathed in herpes glitter. There are alot of spoliers in the vids but for hand made props and displays the magic is always there!! Always show the kids something they haven't seen and they will come back! I'm a hands on guy so it's time to go back to diys when I have free time which isn't much nowadays. I really don't want to do more of the same for folks. I want to at least try to be innovative and show folks they can do build stuff too. Not everything needs to be store bought.

I tried to buy someone's shopping list of carnival props for them to do a front yard display walkthrough and like 90% was not available. I asked to buy floor samples some just one if a kind little signs little props, etc. and they said no. And they will be sent to storage and not sold next year (???) No one makes walk through videos like you do that are fantastically sarcastic and funny. Whatever you do we'll keep watching. You have skills in so many layers of materials and artistic ability that gives very original creations.

The stores really have it made in terms of advertising because the numerous walkthrough video channels essentially do the advertising for them. As a result, even the coolest products meant to impress, surprise or scare, become so familiar and easily identified. Come haunt time, visitors act like they’re at a sidewalk sale where even the most moderate Halloween lover can rattle off not only the names of the props, which store sold them and for how much, but will likely say they just saw the exact same props a few houses over.🤪🥴

@@CobwebsandCandlesticksMy FAVORITE display piece this year was the Frankie you built and took to MHC! That was AWESOME! On the store front side of things, the HD Frankenstein and the 4 member Reaper Rock Band at Lowe’s have really got my attention. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, none of those are outdoor rated. The HD Frankie would be pretty cool to leave up all year in a room in the house. The servos and controller could be hacked to display other actions after that add a little work to costume and it would be the digitty!
