EDIT: I've been told that that's actually Jane Wickline, who is also one of the newbie cast members this year (it's her, Ashley Padilla, and Emil Wakim, replacing Punkie Johnson, Molly Kearney, and Chloe Troast, who IMO, should have stayed on). True. There are a few states that allow fireworks for New Years and some of those abandoned storefronts turn into fireworks stores. The municipalities allow it in hopes the buildings will burn down to prevent future vandalism and homeless people living in them.

I worked at a Spirit one Halloween. This is exactly right. Most of the employees are damaged felons and half of the unsold inventory goes right in the dumpster. It's cheaper to trash than haul away.
