well, it all depends on opinion and perspective. though, through my own personal experience, I think it's simply beautiful how the creators of spirit managed to express the feelings so well through the facial expression, sounds, and actions of the horses without having them speak. it also is one of the few movies which have made me cry quite a lot... again, perspective and such, but I think Spirit is definitely one of the best (if not the best) movie out there based on such storyline.

That old guy in charge of the fort was also one tough cookie, I liked him in spite of him being the antagonist. In the end of the movie I think Spirit and him respected each other too.

this movie really changed my life. i was about 6 when i first saw it and now im 14 and im finally getting my own horse. my dream is to be a famous rider, whether it be in rodeos or show jumping or cross country whatever it be, thank you Spirit, for giving me hope, and really giving me an understanding for horses.
