Don’t necessarily know this song. I stumbled upon this searching for your guitar but the tone you have was amazing... if you own a les Paul with humbuckers can you tell me if you hear any significant difference

I often hear people saying the sound is a mix between a Les Paul and a Telecaster, and that is partially right imo. This guitar sounds SO unique, it just has that "Gretsch" sound. You'll need to find one to play!

Joe McDaniel oh that’s interesting to hear about the les Paul and telecaster hybrid. I think gretsch guitars sound great and look stunning. thanks for the quick reply!

At 4:27 you do that sick riff on the top half of video, Do you have the riff tab on that? I really want to know how to play it.

Pudieras hacer un tutorial hermano?
@JoeMcDaniel4 жыл бұрын
Sorry Victor, no plans for that right now. Here is a good tutorial for one guitar, from David Hislop himself. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mnOVZJRtmNKMrdk

Bro what petals are you using? Analog or digital? Brand name? Love the sound and could use the tip since I play a lot of Bethel Songs at Church

Hey J.D., in this video I'm actually using an app on my phone called JamUp and an iRig 2 interface.

Cool, do you recommend any petals to emulate the sounds in a live setting?
@JoeMcDaniel7 жыл бұрын
I don't own any pedals, just a boss GT-1 which is a multi effects unit. If you look up something like "basic worship pedalboard" here on KZbin, I think you'll be able to see what most people like to use.

Can you show me your gear pedals?thanks~

Nice interpretation. Did you get this just by listening to the recording? I've been hoping for a guitar tutorial from Bethel as they have with a couple other of their songs ( Ever Be, Lion and the Lamb). I've worked on it though and according to one of the video's I've seen of the song Michael Pope does the vamp on the fourth and fifth strings at the eighth and tenth fret. Your probably aware of this already. Great job!

Thanks Jas! I learned this mostly from Alex.Guitars demonstration video, which to me sounds pretty accurate. I also listened to the instrumental version on Tanner Tracks channel. Hope that helps

Hey! I've been looking at that guitar! Would you recommend it?
@JoeMcDaniel7 жыл бұрын
Hey there. I definitely recommend. This guitar is phenomenal. It really sounds amazing with overdriven tones, and is very chimey with clean tones. It made me understand pretty quickly why so many worship guitarists use them. Even a lower end model like this one sounds and plays great.

Thanks for the response! I play alot of beatles music and this is just beautiful and sounds pretty good for 60's rock!

Hey do you consider this a fast versatile guitar? Great cover btw
@JoeMcDaniel7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Federico! This guitar is unbelievably versatile. I have been able to muscle pretty much any tone out of this thing, love it. It has a pretty chunky neck and it's glossy so it's not all that fast, but the overall playability is amazing. Lots of guitar stores should have these electromatics, so it should be no problem to find one to test.
