I was shocked when I heard about the case of Pastor John Roughton who was sent back to America on 31 October 2024,his wife came back to Nagaland where as his husband was sent back to America on same flight. Such a scenario towards our Christian leader is not expected. I pray that God will give wisdom to the MHA Officials and Government of India to reconsider whatever took place,and it is my prayer that Pastor will be allowed to come back to Nagaland to unite with our Peace Loving Citizen's. I skip my church and run to Spirit of faith church where all tribes gather to worship God and not just a particular tribes, I love to be with different kind of people n this church is one n only church where every types, race n creed come n fellowship in God's presence❤. I was so blessed through this church too n I still remember how much he have impacted our tribe, also I remember once we held crusade near our house where he was the speaker n I still remember him saying Exercise your faith n I kept that word in my heart still though I was unable to completely follow everytime yet I din't give up though. The Government of India needs to review their stance as to why a pastor from America was sent back home. In a country like India where it's diverse in terms of religion, race and cultures, it should not impose such a move that breaks the unity of the country. For people who did not live through the 90s in Dimapur, it is hard to imagine the impact this man had on the churches in Nagaland. Many decried him, but he came here under the leading of God. Praise & worship used to be a "box" guitar and some old Sunday School songs sung by some youth of the church. Then the service would start with "Beginning the service, let us sing hymn number..." Praise and Worship was not considered a real part of the service. It was Spirit of Faith that began the effort that was put into praising and worshiping God. in 1995, based on Luke 11:13 I asked God for the Holy Spirit and He somehow led me to Spirit of Faith church where I met the Holy Spirit. God used this man mightily to bring thousands into a walk with our Lord Jesus. In the 2010s, we could trace the fire of every youngster who had a relationship with God directly to John Roughton. I haven't been to his church for many many years, but I know this man is a true man of God. While pressers and pressure is good, remember also Acts 12:5. My everyday prayers are with the prayers of all his well wishers.

Please be informed that Pastor John isn't an outsider. He left the luxuries of America to faithfully serve Nagaland and Nagas for 30 years. He is not someone on a mere work visa but he is a legitimate Overseas Citizen of India. As an OCI card holder, he is entitled to a lifetime visa and can visit India for any length of time and for any purpose. According to law, the government must provide clear and detailed grounds for any proposed action to deny entry to an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder. The main context of the issue here is the fact that the government is unwilling to provide any information as to why Pastor John was sent back to the US. It is against the law to deny entry to an OCI without issuing clear and detailed grounds for the same. Furthermore, Spirit of Faith Church isn't built on foreign money/donations. It is a church built on the faith of its congregation.

I have always said this but no one took us seriously till to this date when we say that that the Attack on Kukis in Manipur today is a attack on Christianity by BJP led RSS using the hindu meiteis. The meiteis may just be pawns i believe. Thr Manipur conlfict is more than Meitei Vs Kukis. The genocide against the Kukis is an experiment for the BJP to infiltrate their hindutva agenda into the northeast states, it is a warm up to spread this chaos slowly to the rest of the northeast states aswell. To disintegrate tribals unity and sow the seeds of hatred based on religion. Recently there was also an uproar erupting in NEHU university alleging that there has been an infiltration of RSS groups into the university students organistion. Wake up Northeast People!!! Wake up before it starts crawling up into our beautiful and peaceful northeast.

Evidently the GoI doesn't taken their own rules seriously. An Overseas Citizenship of India cardholder who has been living in India for over 30yrs is deported without any explanation.
