I had an experience where I had excruciating pain in my left ankle and foot. It was very hard to walk and I couldn't explain what caused the pain in the first place. We were at a church meeting for equipping people to use their spiritual gifts and they asked people who thought they had a gift of healing to come up to pray for people. 3 ladies prayed for me and the pain left immediately. I was healed and could jump up and down with no pain. 2 days later the pain came back and I was so disappointed. I started doubting that I was actually healed. I went back to one of the elders in our church and asked why that happened. He felt that it could be a spirit that left and came back. They prayed for me again, this time addressing it as a spirit. The weirdest thing was the pain didn't go away immediately but started moving around my body. It went to my knee, then my other foot then my hand and then it left and didn't come back. I'm just so grateful that I was healed!

I grew up in a Pentecostal household. My mother was instrumental in my understanding of many of the gifts. My father wasn’t saved. I had two strokes and epilepsy, when I got saved I experienced complete healing. It was proven by X-rays and MRI. I saw healings and miracles that I could only attribute to God. My mom was diagnosed with cancer. I anointed her with oil, prayed daily for her. I prayed for four plus hours a day for her. I fasted 23 days before she died. My faith was destroyed. Within a week, my father came to me. Hot tears streaming down his face. He told me, son, your mother was right with Jesus. She was right about everything. All these years she followed and trusted Jesus and I wouldn’t believe. I have seen the error in my ways. I will go to her. He got radically saved, spirit filled, and became a very dedicated Christian. He died 3 years later. If my mother would have been healed, my father may have never been born again. Sometimes God is sovereign in his mercy in ways we can’t see.

Love your guys’ channel. I grew up going to a Pentecostal church that probably didn’t do a exegetical / Bible aligned reflection or teaching, but pursued the charismatic without much biblical thought. Though I don’t attend a Pentecostal church anymore because I had a hard time with such loose teaching, I would still consider myself a continuationist. I appreciate your discussions that are always rooted in Biblical thought and not merely experience, tradition, or personal whims. God bless!

When Rountree says the phrase “root cause” it sounds like he’s talking about a sin root cause, not a physiological root cause. I agree If you’ve already repented, been delivered and laid your life bare before the Lord and you’re still not healed, then yeah absolutely don’t go on a Sherlock Holmes hunt for the sin root cause. In the more common use of that phrase though, I believe The Holy Spirit can absolutely lead you through the wisdom of God on a slow healing process that involves finding a physical root cause and improving your health! He’s the great physician and He knows what your body needs. Sometimes with doctors or medicine, sometimes without. One of the best things I have done as a Christian is to let the Holy Spirit in to my health journey and decisions. ❤

I have Sjögren’s just like your wife. I’ve had “church” people speculate regarding my life and be wrong. Typically they say I must be holding on to unforgiveness. I’ve prayed years ago and released the things I was holding on to and I’m constantly seeking the Lord to search my heart and reveal if I am holding on to anything. One day I got an assurance that it’s not unforgiveness but I still have flare ups from Sjögren’s. I know people are trying to be helpful but it can be hurtful. I’m keeping Mrs. Roundtree lifted before the Lord @the Remnant radio

I think it is good for these issues to be discussed. I spent many years very ill. I did forgive everyone but never did in-depth forgiveness because I didn’t know too. (Not raised in a Christian background.) It did lift one illness off of me but not the others. But people need to realize not everyone is ill from unforgiveness or from sin. It does happen and scripture reflects that. It is hard when people don’t take time to listen for sure. I still press into God for healing, but also trusting God to equip me in what I can do now.

One day I was encouraging a sister in the Lord that we do not need to be afraid of demons because the Lord has given us authority over them and shared some experiences I had encountered. Within a minute I felt like I was hit in the head with a sledge hammer and was in severe pain! I believe definitely it was a demon saying, “Oh yea? I’ll show you!” Well… all it did was get me Mad! I therefore I reminded these demons they had to get their filthy hands off of me in the Name of Jesus! It was a Crazy experience! Demons are real for sure and have power to inflict sickness.

Curry Blake's is 100% biblical. Michael Rowtree said " there is no Scripture that says all sinckness is from Satan". That statement is clearly contrary to ACTS 10: 38 " how he went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil" .. that is a part of central apostolic presentation of the gospel. There is just zero wiggle room around it. Healing is apart of spiritual warfare.

When Jesus confronted the spirit of infirmity He literally applied His own scripture by speaking to the mountain. Matthew 21:21 21 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. Jesus spoke with FAITH and didn't DOUBT and that spirit of infirmity had to go.

They completely missed people who have been spiritually, physically, mentally and/or emotionally abused by no fault of their own. This evil, though it got it's way in due to sin, someone else's sin, it still effects the person.

8:30 - In my humble opinion - y'all are not thinking in a complicated enough way. Lots to say here, but... don't feel insulted or indignant - Please don't - love you guys. 26:34 - yes. 100% yes. And again, I am With you, not Against you. SO much to say, but mostly for the Holy Spirit to do so. Y'all are doing a fantastic work here though. If any one of you were my sons, I'd be uder-proud. 28:18 - (just an unrelated note here) - The Holy Spirit can teach you everything about this - but as with Many things in YHWH-God, it takes time and/or occasion/situation/place. He will teach you All things, and remind you of the things Jesus said - (it is written).

Have any of you guys heard of someone being healed of chronic kidney disease (CKD)? I have it and it was caused by chronic high blood pressure. I am nowhere near being diabetic which is the other main reason people get this malady. I’m just a few points away from stage 4… and stage 5 is when you need to go on dialysis or get a kidney transplant. I’m beside myself with this… and I’ve been asking Jesus to heal me. Any encouragement you might have for me would be appreciated. Many thanks.. I love your channel. 👍👍👍

Perhaps sickness and illness should be defined first. Blindness and being mute are a bit different from what is traditionally understood as sickness and disease.

Sadly at one point in time, I went though Curry Blake’s DHT training. I wish I was a more mature believer and educated at the time to see through the arguments he made.I know you mentioned good things about him, but he falls right in with majority of Word of Faith folks regarding healing and situations, not a prosperity teacher though which was one good thing though.
@gracecooper41042 жыл бұрын
I have never commented on any of the wonderful videos on this channel but I agree completely. I went through the DHT too. Lots of yelling at infirmities! I wasn’t encouraged to grow in my faith with Jesus because I thought as a believer I could sort of will the force of my faith to effect change cause you know healing was ALWAYS Gods will. I was hurt by his teaching and I hurt others with my lack of understanding when I prayed for others.

Please stop manipulating the speed of playback when you include clips. For instance from 42:08 - 46:12, I had to readjust my playback speed twice in order to make certain that I was understanding what was being said and then again when Josh started speaking again. If the clip had just been allowed to play through at normal speed, would it have really added that much to the overall length of the video? IMHO, it would not have. If the clip was 5 to 10 minutes in length if may have made significant difference. Thank you for considering my request. .

Love you guys! Kinda surprised to see a half approval of Curry Blake. No doubt God is working through him but as someone who was OBSESSED with his teaching for several years, his theology may be further off than you guys realize. I don’t doubt his salvation or think he’s fleecing the flock but his teaching is very concerning. He has lots of “Faith as a force” teaching and basically doesn’t believe God ever really works through sickness only persecution. My theology of suffering was jacked and it hurt my faith and moreover I hurt others I prayed for. He’s a very subtle prosperity preacher in that he doesn’t include financial prosperity but he twists and excludes scripture related to Paul’s infirmity because he doesn’t believe Paul was sick. He teaches that physical healing is part of the atonement. Maybe his teaching has changed in the last two years but his teaching was VERY jacked.
@gracecooper41042 жыл бұрын
Also, for anyone who might read this Curry Blake teaches a version of faith and healing that closely resembles the law of attraction belief that I had left as a former new ager. His explanation of that is that they stole it from us. I was afraid to think a “bad thought” just like in the new age and never wanted to bring my struggles to the Lord, only deny them as if my passing unbelief or doubt had anything to do with the sovereignty of God in choosing to work through me or not. Choosing an active mindset is of course sinful but denying your initial feelings altogether because it’s “not in faith” is just unhealthy and nuts. 😬 Sorry, the Remnant Radio guys and Mike Winger’s chanel have sincerely helped me unpack the bad theology I learned from teachers like Curry Blake and I’m very surprised to hear that barring some minor adjustments in language that they’d like to do ministry with him. Not denying that God may work through him, but He can work through anyone.

As good Bereans we need to honestly let the 66 books in bible be our only source and dictionary for the definitions of what things are. And not infer our presuppositions into the context of scripture. So from the Bible what is a "spirit"? , then we can ask what is the difference between Holy Spirit and unclean spirit? What is a Spirit?
