I can't understand why people build Shiv around his knives. I get them last and focus on the 2 and the ult. With high spirit and the right mix of actives and gun you can burst tanky 3k health characters in seconds. Even in the early game tier 2 slice gets you 200+ base damage and if you have ult you can mimic it and hit for 500+ damage in a burst within the first 10 minutes of a match. What am I missing about these knife builds? They seem so stupid compared to a slice and dice build. Idk maybe I'm crazy

If you get hit with slowing hex, you don't get to play the game anymore. Knife build also has some distance play which is nice sometimes

having 3-4-5 knives ticking on enemies with spirit lifesteal gives you a lot of good sustain to keep you alive, pair that with a decay or a torment pulse you are straight up not dying

i put my mystic reverb and superior CD on my 2 and build for 5 charges on knife with mystic slow. Honestly i can be 100 hp and fight 1v1 and win most fights

I play Spirit Shiv too. Mid game build is pretty busted. Extra Charge seems excessive because he has 3 knves already that cooldown quickly, but it’s still a great choice

Can agree! Basically theory is you can just throw them faster so you can get double 1's between your shotgun shots making the overall dam potential the highest!

Sorry! They are gonna be doing a lot of QOL stuff in the future but currently that's what we got! Hopefully though the item pop ups and descriptions end up helping the viewing experience

@@Sanctittytv I assume you mean on Valve's side. Keep in mind this is early, early alpha. There's no telling what kind of feedback they'll take from the community and incorporate into the game down the road.

The macro calls and map awareness were excellent! Only thing to improve on is to press 3 after big bursts more often, there were a few double bombs that went off where you could've healed a lot of that burst damage back up. Otherwise great game.

You should use your right click more when farming big camps and when you slice and dice onto the enemies it does huge damage

More dmg yes, but shoots slower and takes 2 ammo per shot, I usually only finish the adds with right click

Been using this build for a minute. It's awesome now that the other one got nerfed.

Far too many times your could have pushed objectives and decided not to for some reason. A tower that was 3 shots from dead you just left for 3 mins. A walker you were on all alone with 4 of 6 enemies spotted and the creeps got it to half before dying. If you had stayed you could have taken the walker. So many weird decisions to not play the objectives.

Shiv breaks the game, regardless of build type, is more accurate. He will be nerfed, probably the % on the ult amongst other things.

@@luvsik7 yeah but thats 1 or 2 knives. He's still doing the base knife dmg, whatever bleeding dmg that hit before debut remover, and he still has his 2 and 4 and shotgun. It isn't really doing much. Better off going spirit armor or shield.

I'm surprised the deadlock servers are still running with how much these guys "break the game" It seems like it's actually true cause the server's have been laggy this week :) I was just saying get more original titles. Anyways I'm going to go back to my wall.
