When I read this lesson, I saw the 3 P’s: The Promise, The Purpose, and the Praise. 1. The promise from God himself as he chose us before we were ourselves.(The Father) The purpose for us as being redeemed and forgiven of our sins though the blood and selfishness of Jesus Christ himself on the cross (the Son) 3. The Praise that when we accept and believe in the son, we will give God all the praise though the God of our salvation which is Jesus Christ (The Holy Ghost). Thank you for opening up this lesson to the Trinity. It is there. Great lesson as always.

Can you answer what's your take on water baptism and salvation

Water baptism is a rite performed on those that have already accepted Christ as their Saviour, in biblical days they were baptized publicly and repented and or denounced their belief in what they came out of, while they confessed faith in Christ. If a person dies without water baptism they are still saved.

The foreknowledge of God knows who will accept the gospel message before the foundation of the world, God knowing who will accept the gospel chose them ( predestination) before he created anything, but it’s all on our free will

Hi great question and yes there is a difference. One is positional ( adoption) which is the first thing that takes place which is when God chose us to be His children and placed us in His family. To graft something in is to take something that is not original and skillfully place it into an existing thing in such a way until it looks original, like skin graft

Maybe I'm looking at it as both was not the original. As Gentiles we were grafted in and then we were adopted to the family! So in both we were added to the original plan of God. Or I'm I getting confused

Technically God’s plan always included the Gentiles according to the lesson, the gospel was sent to the lost sheep first and then to gentiles but it was always His intention plan. First we were adopted to be part of the family and the. We were grafted into the family. Adoption comes first

Pastor Jones, you asked the question about who was Paul referring to in Ephesians 1:12? I think Paul was referring to the Jews because in Acts 1:12 NLT it says, "God's purpose was that we the Jews who were first to trust in Christ would bring praise and glory to God.". In addition to Romans 1:16 NIV says, "16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile."

Hi Pastor 👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾Great lesson! I believe Paul was referring to the Jews, in verse 12, when he referred to those who "first believed". He could no longer refer to them as "the chosen ones" as they lost that right from their refusal to believe in Jesus as the Son of God. Verse 13 refers to the Gentiles as "who ye have also trusted". The Gentiles were not the first, but they also are Believers who trust in God, Jesus the Christ and the Holy Ghost.

Great answer, keep in mind though that the Jews are still chosen ones because Paul says they will return because of jealousy in Romans 11:11, and they will make it in because they are elected
