If doctors admit now that they have no idea what causes depression and this chemical imbalance isn’t proven then shouldn’t the entire field of psychology be questioned?

It's surely to be questioned! As a mental patient for over forty years and having had no help from doctors, meds or mental hospital stays, I gave it up. Trusting completely in Christ, I'm happy again and depending daily on His help. May not be for all,but I had enough
