Big difference bro. Your knowledge in Sikhism is probably little or skewed....every aspect of a Sikh life is,an antithesis of Hindu way of life. We don't fast.we are not vegetarian though some do practice it now and than..langgar served in Gurdwaras are vegetarian because it makes it playable yo any person with any creed to partake it..but there is notting in our religion that compell us to be vegetarian..Our Guru were certainly not vegetarian..tgey used to hunt wild life when tge were on extended military exercise..and Sikhs during the dark times hunt wild life for sustenance when food was scarce...we don't warship idols..we refrain from superstitious act such as kavra chott n horoscopes reading..we don't warship fire..nor we hv any sacred rivers to bath in..we give equality to all...not the the same in Hinduism where caste system n brhaminical status exist...Sikh women hv the same equality as men..a right given to them by the Gurus....so they don't fast during kavara choth or consider thier husbands as God...(swami permeshuar)...We don't celebrate Divali..Vasakhi is our celebration.. we hv Singh n Kaurs behind our names..we wear the 5 ks...we don't wear the jannue...nor the tikka nor Sikh women wear sindoor...we don't do arti or ring bells in places of warship...our greetings are different... The Guru brought an entire new script to earth which is the original underlying vibrational blueprint of creation; definatly didnt do anything to protect Sanskit EVER. Before Sanskit there was Tamil which is mostly likely the language the pure teachings where in; before they became Sanskit. The primary purpose of Guru Gobind Singh was to bring old religion which was Vedas, which we indian people were forget with time and became mere worshippers of idols and rituals. Vedas talk about Unity and God(om burav buvah savah...). And guru Gobind singh did not made khalsa army for invaders. He made khalsa army for people who oppose this Vedas ideology and started attacking Guru. He was not biased. He treated hindus and muslim equal even though muslims invaded this part of earth. He was not concerend who occupy which part of earth, for him human race was one, any person living in any corner was same to him. Most muslims liked him. He had to fought 15 times and out of 15 times, 14 times hindu pahadi kings attacked him. Because these kings were hurt when they came to know that Guru Gobind Singh has blatantly wrote against hollow rituals and idol worshipping in Dasam Granth.

Guru Gobind Singh ji didn't start any religion, he followed Guru Nanak's philosophy. Khalsa was created by Guru Gobind Singh ji as a sect among followers of Guru Nanak's philosophy who would live life of saint as well as a soilders to defend Sikh faith if need arrives

Kabir's writing, like those of a few other Bhagats and Sufi saints, was incorporated into the scriptures by Guru Gobind Singh because they agreed with Sikh philosophy. And our Sikh Gurus were not biased towards any religion. Guru Nanak is know to have said "There is no Hindu and no Muslim". In other words, these are just labels people put on themselves. The Gurus did not side with the vedas over any other texts.

Thanks for uploading! Sadhguru - RESPECTS!! Every time I see any clips relating to Sikhs, my eyes tear up. If not for the Sikh Gurus, Sikh Kings, Sikh Warriors, Sikh Society and the protection they provided, my direct ancestors could avoid brutal/barbaric conversion to Islam and subsequent barbaric subjugation by Jihadi Mullahs. Wherever Islam dominated, the local culture and knowledge got totally erased from the map of the planet! Christianity did the same, but not as brutally as Jihadis Islamists did! Reason: Jesus fundamental teaching is 'love'. The Christianity's barbaric Crusade against Islamists Jihadists was a response to counter a very barbaric waves of Jihad thrust on Christian Communities in Europe! Only Christians know (and have internalised) the fact that Jihadi Islamists know, only one language - killing in very barbaric ways!! If not for the Sikhs in the North and Shivaji in the West/South, Hindu Sanatana Dharma and all its very valuable Vedic Knowledge and practices such as yoga, yajna and tapasya (meditation), all the pathways to liberation would have been lost to the humanity as a whole!
