I like your Supertone banjo restoration videos. Are you a clawhammer style player? My son is a musician. He received an old banjo from my grandmother when she passed away, and had someone restore it for him. It looks and sounds great.

The only reason is that I needed a place to attach the magnetic base for the dial indicator.

Sorry, but your dial gauge is on the bit the wheel is mounted onto. Right idea, wrong surface. You need to measure on the disk/rotor friction surface. If the wheel mounting surface is out of true you will get vibration/shaking through the steering all the time, if the disc is out of true you get vibration under braking.

@@marksaunderson3042 I understand. I was getting vibration while driving (not breaking). Measuring the hub surface showed the hub was tilted off the spindle axis.
