@@GazzyD I'm german and I hope with all my heart OP was joking... My only guess is, that the jodely scream serves the purpose to spice up the beat or make it extra cringe on purpose. But I honestly don't know, because jodeling and Schuhplattler is a regional thing in Bavaria and not typical for germany in general.
