Splane just gave me instructions for attending my JW mothers funeral, no saying prayers - I didn't intend to, no saying amen - no intention, do I stand out of respect - only thing he said is a husband ( unbelieving) would be happy if she just sit quietly until its over. Thats Watchtower view of women because most men I know would want their adult wife to decide, just because their relationships are enmeshed doesn't mean we all have toxic relationships. Do not participate in any religious rituals, that applies to Jehovah's witnesses also.😅

This is faux humility as Governing Body members won't lose an opportunity to remind everyone they are on the Governing Body, even though they've already been introduced as such at the beginning of their talks and everybody knows who they are. Chaka, i remember when the jw website first got going and everyone was encouraged to watch the regular broadcasts and all that, i noticed something disturbing that i brought up with others, but they didnt seem to notice or care or deem it important: i saw that any of the GB members who hosted all wore the same ring on their right ring-finger. A gold ring with a flat, gold, circular top, with some kind of symbol stamped into it (from what i can see so far, splane isnt wearing it in this compilation). As soon as i saw it, i got serious 'secret society' vibes, especially when i noticed most of the GB were wearing them, but everyone i asked or mentioned it to brushed it aside. Had you ever noticed that? Do you know what thats all about?

😂😂😂That was crazy, right? This is a trademark of the Jehovah's Witnesses religion. They'll read or cite a scripture and then just say the exact opposite of what it said. Creating the illusion that their ideas are scriptural when in fact they are anything but.

Remember when Watchtower had 1975 as the end of the world? They started this disastrous trend in 1964 by mentioning it in Watchtower magazines. In 1968 the Watchtower magazine of August 15, 1968 actually said this: “ This is not the time to be toying with the words of Jesus at Matthew 24:36. To the contrary, it is a time when one should be keenly aware that the end of this system of things is rapidly coming to its violent end.” Some time in 1980 Watchtower pointedly stated that Christ wasn’t mediator for all of mankind, but just for the “anointed” ones, meaning the leaders of Watchtower who claim to be of the 144,000. Thus they directly ignored even Christ’s words at John 14:6 as well as the information at 1Timothy 2:3-6! How can these smarmy crooks justify these attitudes and sneer at so-called “apostates” as deserving God’s wrath?
