I will have to say I just saw this video for the first time today and it was wonderfully done and I think honestly listen you can appreciate history without tearing down new history and if you really look at it to have this rethaming means that they see princess Tiana as a valuable character and I think the one thing that Disney knows how to do is value storytelling I don't think that they will take a ride and screw it over because they have too many people that care about the story and stories evolve so I look at as even though this is involving story that doesn't mean that you can't enjoy the memories of what used to be splash mountain I mean my goodness people of all if everybody who does not like the ride never evolved as a person but people like them still so that's the point if people can evolve rides and attractions and things can evolve too

It seems nice but from my personal point of view something is missing, more animatronics in some areas that are kind of empty and i know that this is just a simulation from how the ride is going to look like but for real there are a lot of empty spaces or at least more screens with certain characters and which one is the villain i didn't get it, there was a snake that never appeared on the original movie, and there are a lot of boats but there are not too many frogs or any other important character such as mama Odi the women that was preparing a strange soup 😅 but i don't know we are gonna have to wait and see, i was waiting for a sneak peak from this atraction because i love animatronics and i wanted to just take a look. For example that animatronic from pandora is so real i hope that there are similar to those animatronics from the beauty and the beast

They were from a show that used to be at Disneyland called Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee. As for Dig a Little Deeper, that is from Mickey’s Friendship Faire.

It is confirmed that the story will take place after the film, so it is very unlikely that Ray will make an appearance in the ride. Although, we think the best way to feature him in the ride is to have him as a star alongside with Evangeline just like at the end of the movie.

i disagree, only because the original splash mountain ride is based on an insanely racist movie called Song of the South, that Disney is trying their best to pretend never existed. it's very hard to find a copy of it, i remember as a kid i really wanted to see the movie with the brer foxes and brer bear from the ride. but i couldn't find it and I'm glad about that, now that i know what the movie was like. however, i very much get where you're coming from because i used to be obsessed with the song zip a dee doo dah (also from that movie)
