The best part about this video is that you can go on this ride TODAY and it will essentially be in the exact same condition shown here. All hail the Oriental Land Company, aka the REAL Walt Disney Company.

Yup, they got all the good stuff, well I’m not sure about the new space mountain or the reck it Ralph attraction but they know how to properly run their parks

Genuinely shocking.

@@SlushysSecretTo be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if OLC green lit those projects at least in part to get the Bob Iger Company off their back about keeping this masterpiece up and running. The thinking being that it would be unfeasible for them to take Splash down for more than a standard refurb when other major attractions also are also being taken off the table for months/years.

@@JRH-1007even if this is right, I still have faith that the new attractions will be great, Tokyo seems to nail everything.

@@sealy1 Agreed. Fantasy Springs is a perfect reminder that the problem with recent changes to the U.S. parks isn’t Imagineering per se, but the horrendous decision making and budgeting of the Bob Iger Company. Under the right owners like OLC, they can still give you truly great attractions and I expect them to continue doing so in those parks for years to come.

I'm glad they decided to keep Splash. Hope they keep it that way. Atleast well be able to have just one Splash. I've always wanted to ride it again since 2012 when I went on it when I was 6.

Holy crap, they captured the cartoon feel perfectly with this ride. There's constantly something fun to look at, at every turn. I can't believe such a wonderful attraction was erased in America by the new travesty for the sake of DEI.

V!rg!n Disney: remove attractions that we all loved, doesn't care about what the fans want, takes care of the ride badly, has a beef with american culture. Chad Oriental Land Company: keep attractions that we all loved, cares about what the fans want, takes care of the ride properly, loves american culture.

Even if they do close it would just be a update to make the animatronics more advanced but I doubt it will get rethemed sooner or later

The OLC has no plans to remove it, and even refused to accept Igers request to remove and retheme the ride, my respect for the OLC grows by the day

Tokyo needs to hold onto this tight and tell Disney to sod right off if they try to change it like they did with the US versions.

Thanks for the upload! Ngl though, I saw some videos of Tiana’s, it looks pretty good and decent. 7/10. But Splash Mountain is still the top!

This score now goes down to 4/20, you should see how constant the retheme breaks especially the animatronics

Interesting how the turtles in the laughin' place move their other limbs. These days, they just move their mouths and blink. The animatronics also noticeably have more movement compared to today.

What an absolute tragedy we’ve lost this masterpiece in the US parks. Everyone needs to stop going there and only visit Tokyo. Vote with your wallet to the max.
