This happened to me when I went!! It was TERRIFYING. I'm still scarred! Ever since then I haven't wanted to go on even though it was my favorite ride. Now I have a fear of animatronics in water rides, so thanks splash mountain! 😂

They do but technical difficulties can happen anytime plus time ride has one of the most animatronics in a single ride, so it's hard to maintain this ride.

The cameras in the rides are solely to monitor guests and not show elements, so I'm not really surprised that they couldn't tell based off of cameras.

I'm kinda surprised the audio kept going in most places even though the figures weren't working! Doesn't the audio usually shut off if a character's not working? Or is that only for some of them? Also I loved Br'er Fox just talking casually as if nothing was wrong while he was frozen. When it's only their mouthes moving, it's just WRONG!

Attraction audio is controlled completely independently of animatronics, at least as far as I know.
