So, Splatoon 2 is in fact still alive, just slightly. I kinda wanna go back to those Shifty Stations. Those are 10 times better than Tricolor.

i was only in splatoon 2 for two splatfest but i really do miss the shifty stations! they were so well designed and fun and yes i do agree, much better than tricolor for sure

@@woomycat Ye, the Shifty Stations were what made Turf War good for Splatoon 2. Bringing a single player only gimmick in the online mode spiced everything up. Tricolor is… well, sort of disappointing. Some map layouts favor others, object placement is a tad strange, the other attacking team being greedy, and the defending team not paying attention to one side of the map. Tricolor is a bit of a mess.

The most memorable Splat2 moments I remember are when I encountered hackers that paint 99.9% of the map. I haven't seen pure chaos yet in Splat3, so hopefully they add them back soon Btw the invite link to your discord server says it's invalid/expired

came back right after the grandfest and there are no posts to be seen, ranked is simply dead, and even getting a full turf war lobby takes 10 minutes. despite the fact that that most players picked present, most likely out of oth favoritism, they suuuure don’t like to reminisce.

@@speedm222 i know :/ splatoon 2 was my first video game that i got really into about 5 years ago (it's still my favorite to this day, s3 can't replace the nostalgia it gives me😭) every now and then i go back and just play octo expansion or try to get a few games in.. it's sad that most of the community doesn't play it anymore. i went with team past because i like the squid sisters and past is more important to me, though i feel everyone chose teams mainly based on the game they started the franchise playing or the idols.. though again, i do wish people would go back to s2 🥲

@@ffffff6104 Splatoon 3 is lacking the diverse personality between inklings and octolings. Its all just emotes that are exactly the same between them. Not to mention the fact that their is no losing animations anymore. Which is a very important personality trait to see their way of expressing a loss in battle. Splatoon 3 has just lost that splatoon-like charm that should never be abandoned. Not to mention a whole lot of original Inkling girl voice clips being replaced entirely with new ones that dont really sound like an inkling. Aaand their legs are too long. Another important Splatoon charm missing is their idle animations. Theyre supposed to sway more. Another charm is with inkling girl again! If you fire your water gun, or ink gun, their tentacles are supposed to flap. It’s just so cute!😊 This is completely absent from splatoon 3. Along with all the others. Which is just unacceptable.
