Okay, let's review everything Inner Agent 3 can do that she shouldn't be able to... - Unlimited Ink - Access to most Special Weapons (you don't even get ONE) - Increased range on her Main Weapon - Auto Bombs have double the duration and double the explosive range of normal Auto Bombs (roughly equal to Suction Bombs). - Able to perform Dodge Rolls (IN-MID-AIR, mind you), despite not having Dualies as her Main Weapon - Able to swim and hide in YOUR Ink (she tries to cover it up, but I've seen her do it) - She only has to hit you TWICE to break your armor. You have to hit her roughly TWENTY times. Okay, free programming tip, Nintendo. When you create a character that breaks EVERY-SINGLE-F*BEEP!*CKING-RULE of your own game...that's not FUN, alright? That's not even CHALLENGING. That's just SADISTIC!

Honestly, the fight is just SO illegal in so many ways...! Inner Agent 3 has all special weapons that are OP, they have dodge-roll without splat dualies, they hit hard even when on just the hero shot, and they have literally the worst award in the game... a freaking TOOTHPICK...!!

Man, I really wished agent 3 would use Splatoon 1 specials instead of Splatoon 2 specials. Here’s an example: First phase , 3 would launch an ink strike before she superjumps to murder us. 2nd phase she would use an ink strike before coming into battle to murder us and then use the inkzooka. 3rd phase, she will then use another inkstrike to seize us and then use a bomb rush of seekers. 4th phase she would use killer wail on the platform but it moves with the platform and the 5 phase she just spams her inkstrikes to kill u AGAIN.

This makes more sense now, so 2 years ago was when splatoon 1 came out and at the beginning of the whole story mode cap'n cuttlefish says that last I remeber you were fighting my protege agent 3. So after beating and collecting all 80 mem cakes agent 8 finally gets their memories back and then you have to battle agent 3 from the 2 years ago.

None of your questions have answers because they're entirely false. It's extremely implied that Agent 8 came across Captain Cuttlefish and Agent 3 just a bit before the events of Splatoon 2. That's what the fight is referencing: it's a mental continuation of the battle that Agent 3 and Agent 8 had which was cut short when they were abducted and taken into the Deepsea Metro.

Pro tip: listen to Hydrogen from Hotline Miami (also Silvagunner’s alternative mix) and then in the final phase listen to Solaris Phase 2. After literal months of trying to beat this boss, listening to these songs helped me through and maybe it can help you too!

My way of doing this was meeting the four corners and when she did the inkjet count to six shots and then start to spam where she lands. Then the bubble blower move left and right and spam shot her. Autoboms swim around the four corners and wait until the special runs out and then spam shoot her. Tenta missiles step back run forward and throw a bomb and repeat that until you splat her. Splash down hide behind the calarami containers and depending where she goes with it move around it and then shoot her. Boom ya done *Edit*: not saying you're method is wrong
