I adore the audio cues in Nasty Majesty and Fly Octo Fly that ask the audience to join in and fill in the gaps. Those parts complete the songs for me

I really appreciate this being up! I've been trying to find something that showcases the music of Splatoon to my pals, and this is perfect. I saw in some of your comments that you're planning on putting up a new compilation that has the most recent concert in it, and I'm really looking forward to it. They did Deep Cut so dirty with that first concert, and I'm really glad they got a big concert to themselves :)

So I've been actually planning it but the thing is now I've become an actual splatoon (style) artist and so I feel like if I make a newer one I'll have to make my own drawings because I have the ability to. But I will definantly make a new one sooner or later it will just take some time to make the illustrations

so far I got a full render of Deep cut made but that legit took like 12 hours so for the other two it's gonna take a while. Guessing only like 8-10 hours each because theres only 2 but still it's almost 20 hours of work just for some drawings

How do they do these concerts? Do they use the motion tracking like some Vtubers use or do they animate them before hand? Or do they record the motion tracking? (Edit: Off the Hook is peak Splatoon music ngl)

they do motion tracking & then animators fix them so that it matches the character's anatomy (otherwise there would be a lot of clipping/glitches bc of how different humans and inklings are built)

I think what they do is probably motion tracking then animators Manually tweaking and refining it. Just my guess tho

i honestly just kinda put whatever flowed well together than had a set order near the end as a finale. Also sprinkled in the mellow songs around to evenly spread it out

I tried to find everyone that I could and I took the versions that I thought sounded the best. Otherwise calamari inkantation would be in here like twenty times lol

Where did you find such high quality versions of these songs? Is there a place i can find them individually? Im trying to build a personal playlist of my fav splatoon songs and want a couple of the live versions but I either cant seem to find many of them on thier own, or they arent as high quality as they are in this mix.

Honestly just search up the song name and then put "live" and that's how I found most of the ones in the thingy. Also there's a new megamix with more stuff RAHHHH!!!
