Splatoon/Paper Mario Mix: Octavio the Disco Devil

Easily one of my new favorite tracks ever is Disco Devil, and my first idea for it came from the DJ Hole Punch would probably like best, DJ Octavio. Who knew a theme for a Hole Punch could be one of the best?

Just looking at these two characters side-by-side makes Hole Punch seem so out of place. It’s a hole puncher, and that’s it. Meanwhile Octavio’s got a badass design with wasabi galore.

@Fjorzek I agree, Nintendo could have given him a humanoid design themed around hole punching, or at the very least they could have given him an actual name. But his theme slaps, for sure.

Well they gave Colored Pencils a name. Jean Pierre Colored Pencils the 12th, so I wonder what Hole Punch’s name would’ve been.

I feel like they did better than cs or ss. I just wish there was more interaction with the audience. Like if you were fighting hole punch, there would be some faceless toads in the crowd or toads rapped in rubber bands during the rubber band fight. Just more variety y'know?
