We don't have British Raj now, but we have the "Raj" Bhavan. Raj Bhavan in around 50 Acres of land with a considerable amount of money for it's annual maintenance. Do we need a huge British house for a Indian Governor to live? State is governed by the elected State Govt. so Governor has very limited office works compared to British Raj.

I too have visited mumbai and went to raj bhavan although i am from uttar pradesh.. It was an amazing tour for and right now i just recalled my whole tour of THE RAJBHAVAN. Also gone through the history session of the sir and we also met the same sir.☺️😊☺️😊 Very very happy to see this video and all the places are still the same...

Atleast in india,through these paid tours,the governor houses are earning...in Pakistan, governors are still living in these palatial buildings with big lawns, high walls, and in smack middle of the cities,maintained through tax payers money ....no paid tours either.....they are white elephants .....these governor houses stretch acres...it will be better if they make them universities...

Hi,Garima, Your Video on Raj Bhavan is a bit different than that of Ajit Naverkar which is Marathi. I (We) lived in Bombayi for 40 years from the 50s to 90s, but I had visited Malabar Hills quite a number of times, but never been here. Thanks a lot. Surely will make a trip to Mumbai from Hyderabad with "Family" after the pandemic is over..

Recently Raj Bhavan got a facelift. Even the fees are raised from ₹25 to ₹125. Maybe you should visit the राजभवन again.
