I looooooooove hearing and seeing other producers in their creative process, specifically the ones that are honest with the musical blocks they will come across, notice he said he make so many beats till they can start sounding the same, so he will use other processes that will help him think outside the box of what he would normally do.......this actually is helpful to other producers as well.

I’m learning the “new way” he mentioned but excited to get more technical and start making my own sound. The sound is everything and you gotta have that ear for it. Tbh i had splice for like 2 or 3 years and dont use it anymore. The only reason i would recommend it, is for beginners who cant do the melodies themself or if they dont have any money for VST‘s… using a high quality oneshot or the rent-to-own plans are really great for new producers on a budget

If you’re talking about ZT (rather than Splice) it appears he got his s*** very much together and the last thing that is gonna ruin his day is some jealousy inspired negativity on the internet. If you’re talking about Splice, I personally don’t really understand the attraction to the platform, I find it expensive and unnecessarily hard to use, but the way he uses it and encourages others to do the same makes perfect sense. At the end of the day it’s like, I wish you would have said something positive so we can agree and there’s one less worry in the world. People can’t seem to handle the internet. Makes them mean. Imagine each comment comes from your beloved grandmother. She may not be right about everything but everything she does she does it cause she loves you. Maybe your grandmother is not beloved by you. That would be unfortunate for you but still doesn’t explain all the hate on the internet tho. Like why spend time and energy doing things you dislike? Go do something you like. Or someone. I use splice as a collaborator. Once I get the direction a lot of times I delete the loops in favor of what I've played. Sounds completely different. Most of us make beats in a silo. Splice is a way for me to have a different "BRAIN" in the room to contribute ideas.
