The simplicity of Gryphon’s move set is something I really love. Characters with uncomplicated fighting styles like WL and Gryph really let’s good game fundamentals take over for me, and I find a lot of success with them.

Rep 18 gryphon here, if you want gryphon's max punish on oos then it goes like this: On throw: perform a forward light into a kick because it's guaranteed then to a heavy finisher for that 43 damage and it works on any direction you throw them. On parry you can do a zone into a light then a kick into a heavy for 57 damage. If you're playing a game mode where you use feats then just go with winner's advantage and fury since they boost the damage by ALOT meaning that you can delete half of someone's hp just by doing the light into kick combo especially when you do the oos punishes making him really hard to fight especially if you know how much you can delay the attacks

Few tips off a light parry do a dashing forward heavy and you can go straight into a 50/50 mix between your kick gb or even undodgable light it basically helps you get into a strong mix Very rarely this happens but if you parry a heavy and the enemy falls you do a zone light attack into a confirmed kick When you gb someone and throw them on the ground you do dashing light into a confirmed kick Hope these tips help and you decide to become a gryphon main like us :)

The better punish for the parry is light light into kick (NOT THE same side lights, the two must be in different directions. The kick js guaranteed after this while also saving stamina instead of wasting it on a zone into light,
