In this week’s video, I show you how to splice wood short-ends. This is a method I use to get more usable wood and avoid waste. There are many joinery techniques you can use to splice short ends together. You can use a housing joint, a finger joint, a scarf joint or a dovetail. In this is example, I will show how to splice with an end to end dovetail joint. I do this using my bandsaw dovetail jig, which I did a video on a few months ago.
