was playing around with this and found that it could be made so that things like railroad/road/river meshes are connected like as in seamless and not have a gap between the meshes, its a fab tool and aplaude you, keep up the good work, also this tool works in UE5 too

hello, very nice tool, but I can't download it.

do you know how to edit this tool and ada a possibility for better (more accurate) rotation of meshes following the spline? I wish i could do a fence which sticks to the another module, im really missing this feature!

When you say more accurate rotation, what settings would you exactly like? Also the fence request could you give me more specifics? When I have time I will update. I already have made some changes.

@@nixies78 for example: I want to make a railguards /crash barriers, and i have got a mesh module, when I move the spline and add points on it, I wish meshes could stick to each other and create a solid barrier. Or for example bridge, you add a mesh into parameter slots, and add points to the spline and meshes build up and create a bridge with collisions for you. For example bridge is based on 3 meshes "start - middle - end" and you can add those settings to spline tool - add 3 instances and define "use mesh A on start of the spline", "use B mesh in the middle points" and "use C mesh in the end of the spline"

Looks amazing. I was thinking to use spline mesh to create snake game but I can't figure out how to add movement to spline mesh and ability to increase mesh on runtime. Do you have any idea?
@nixies783 жыл бұрын
Hmm, to be honest I wouldn't use a Spline mesh for something like this I would probably create a skeletal mesh. Then you could hide and shrink bone parts as you go along. Setting up physics constraints on skeletal mesh would create the effect you are looking for.

@@nixies78 yeah thats sound much better, ill try with 3-4 skeletal mesh in one character and adding physics constraints between them. hope it works :P
