The distraction at 4:06 is unnecessary. You can grab the ledge of the large pile of crates in front of you at 3:40 and shimmy across the corridor.

You don't. The patrolling guard's cycle is long enough to make it in time and the other guard leaning against the wall doesn't have line of sight to the corridor.

I keep pressing drop and then stealth or drop+stealth and i keep landing loud behind alekseevich from the vent...

If you're asking why he didn't shoot Masse, the guards that bust in a room throw a grenade right at the servers Masse works on. If you leave his unconscious body there, the grenade kills him as well.
