Hello! I was recently put on a similar splint, however the splint bent and now can't straighten the finger when I'm doing my exercises. You can see the shape of my finger on the splint. Is it because the hospital used a low quality material? The physical therapist used bounty paper towel to create the mold not what I was expecting at all.

Bounty paper is fine to make the template for sizing purposes. Tell your Therapist what happened. I’m sure they will make you another splint and you can ask if they have a thicker thermoplastic material to use. Good luck 👍🏽
