Nobody could accuse you of being a "Cheap Charlie" Joe as I consider that this whole trip is costing you as much as a year's pension! The meals alone are crazy expensive when you compare them to Thai prices, where, whenever my wife and I eat out, we usually spend about 400 baht maximum for the pair of us. Anyway, this trip is not about the money, it's about the pair of you having a wonderful holiday together and enjoying each other's company whilst seeing the sites in different countries! It was established in 1786 and is famous for Sacher Torte and other pastries. Also, you will love Prague, Czech Republic. It is a beautiful city and there are lots of things to do. I think Croatia is my favourite European country to visit, the coast, mountains, the waterfalls are so beautiful, so much history and a mixture of Eastern Europe and italian influences, I like the straightforward friendly people too. I just ate from local Burger vans outside tourist areas mostly, pretty cheap for burger and Cevapi and a big ozjusko beer.

But as you have been there and I have not, I had to google the way to say it for some reason. True or correct I can't say which way locals say it, but you say it with a "Z" sound or with "ASIA"...I always pronounced it "krow·ay·shuh? Which is both American and British version? Will be watching your time there just to see how "They" pronounce their country. Sounds weird, but when I traveled in the Military it was always stressed to respect your host country best you could with verbalizing the little phrases and terms and I have always held to that in my life. I love Split, you will, of course see the Palace in the old town built for the roman empiror in the 4th century among many many other wonderful things.
