This channel is absolute gold, thankyou so much. Just saw Tim live here in NZ a month ago and he was superb. I would do anything for an ENZ tour now, what a stunning body of work.

I met him after a show in Montreal. He was touring his 3rd solo album at the time. He was the opening act so he was not in a rush. He asked us if we wanted a beer - about 3 times. We were star struck and could only say "No". My friend's sister managed to say she loved Stuff And Nonsense. He kinda glazed over and said "That is an old song." He autographed our tickets and we left him with the suck-up from the record company.

I Met The Finns at The Paradise in Boston when they toured in 1995 the Finn cd. Amazing show and I snuck backstage to say hi. Neil was very cool as we chatted about PJ Harvey and Lollapolooza that year, tim was standoffish abit but very cool chatting to Liam, Neil's son. I had run into Neil around 1990 with Woodface at The Orpheum where he had to walk in thru the front door (with me lol) and a crowd bustling in. Met him (aftershow) playing a free live show outdoor govt center in Boston for some radio station concert when touring Try Whistling This 1998. Have to say, Neil is a great guy and has been a big influence on my songwriting (crash society) but so many don't realize, as they hear the Bowie and Gabriel influence, but I know what's there. What a gift their music has been to my life. Thank You -Brian

Beautiful song wonderfully performed! I think I was at this show. I went to at least one of the Melbourne shows, but I think there may have been multiples. I also really liked the close up of Neil during the bridge section because he's being a good musician and watching the other two for cues and changes. It's nice to *see* that, and it's such a humble thing from the Neil in charge vibe that he usually has to carry.

I don't see why it would be a bad song. I interpret as from the point of view of someone who is looking for something that is in the future. After he met her, he now lives in the present. Kinda a "live in the moment, because you don't know what the future is going to hold."

Eddie is a indeed hell of a keyboard player, but this is Tim playing the piano here. It is really easy to forget how talented Tim is when you have Eddie in the band.
