This dialogue is great. The best parts are where the interviewer points out how what she said cannot be true, and then she uses her same go-to excuses which are so ridiculous, they are laughable. Comedy like this must be easy because she actually supplies all the funniest lines.

Incredibly talented man! Can you imagine how long it takes to wear different outfits and get the reactions so beautifully spot-on? Now, PLEASE cover the Mariah Carey "DIVAGATE"! Today Mariah was forced to backtrack and insist she meant "diva" as a compliment - BUT - I feel the heavy hand of pressure from her PR people and legal advisors. It felt very contrived. People are still terrified to "offend" her with the truth (as witness Piers Morgan and Sharon Osborne losing their jobs). It was the ONLY honest and genuine moment (not to mention the only interesting moment) in the whole mess. I also just read that while Mariah came on the show to promote her new book (which I am NOT criticizing - celebrities are contractually obliged to do this by their publishers), MM did not mention it even once! I believe they DID discuss her book, but after MM took such offense at MC's good-natured ribbing, she had it edited out to punish her. My feeling is that MM is going to hate her forever! She hangs on to grudges and injustice-collects constantly and files it all away to weaponize years later.

We all know, now, what went down on that podcast, and MeMeMe would have to pull the episode to keep it from spreading any further.
