Nice splitting! Do you pair it up with the X27 for the bigger rounds? I’m debating which axe to get currently but I don’t have massive logs to split, probably around the size you were splitting in this video and smaller so the X27 seems a bit like overkill, I’m guessing the X21 is less tiring to swing for longer.

I use the x27 mostly now because it suits me better. I think you should try x25, but if you are tall I would say x27. It's easy to swing it that way. No stopping a hand too early in the swing.

I love how you're splitting logs like It seems so easy. Even i had another kind of axes, i bought today a X25 fiskars. I Hope It Will work like yours. Maybe not so good thecnique and style but enought.

@@Woodscribed I bought the same ax, and I would like to ask you, how often do you sharpen it and how?
@Woodscribed2 жыл бұрын
@@distribiter I sharpen it with my Fiskars Xsharp sharpener once in a while when I think it is blunt. I don't have any specific period :)

Imagine having an outfit just for splitting wood lmao

I wore forestry clothes because I was cutting the wood just before I was splitting it, and it was cold! Haha😄
