Would be nice to "beam on over" to the snow line these last few days.

Yes, it would be. But that's ok. The hot weather is nice to season wood a little bit faster. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍

Man some of the pieces would make me feel uneasy with how they were breaking apart unpredictably and with some serious force!

It's amazing how some wood pops apart with no resistance, and just a few feet away, it changes to hold on. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍

Maple sure jumps off the wedge sometimes. I take a step back when tension builds on that stuff too.

Jealous of that weather. The only good thing about cold weather is that I get to burn my wood.

That’s some wild grain stuff. But it will burn like the dickens like my gramps use to say. Almost better if you noodled them into blocks. lol. Good splitting session! Yup it’s a pool day in your part of the world!

Wood with grain that twisted is only good for boiler wood or tossing over the fence into the neighbor's yard.

Well, in my case, if I can't get it smaller, it's firepit food for me. I have a chunk of fir at my friends equipment yard that is really bad. I am just leaving it till it seasons enough, then I will bring home and watch burn. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍

Some hard splitting stuff. That’s exactly why I got the 35 ton. The wood get around here it is needed at times. I been going to ask if that could build me a 4 way with wings as close to bottom as they can so could just lower it use like single knife. Keep up the good work stay cool. ✌🏻
@DanielAtkinsFirewood
@DanielAtkinsFirewood 17 күн бұрын
Yes, it was. This is the kind of stuff on why I didn't really put a thought into the box wedge machines. Never know where I get wood from either. I do think the Wolfe Ridge 17VS and the Eastonmade Axis would pop these apart no problem, and they are what 14 to 17 tons? Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
