Become a member. Brain trust members get the training videos. It's pretty easy to find if you are viewing from a computer. Most android phones show it, but iPhone won't display the Kent member button, but almost every comments section of my videos has a link to become a member and iphones can use that link to become a member.

Great tutorials man I'm going to join the discord and use your videos as great resources. I'm looking to land my first Splunk job here soon. Any advice for any newcomers trying to become a Splunk admin/engineer? I currently have my enterprise admin and power user on top of that I've also been studying a lot of interview questions.

Thanks for the kind words. Glad they are of help. My biggest recommendation for anyone going into the field and looking to be a splunk sys admin/engineer - make friends with people who have been doing this and are knowledgeable so if you run into a problem you can ask for help and then ask for help. Second, if you can , you should use virtualization or some old machines at home and build your own splunk environment. You want to be intimately familiar with the conf files and how to do all of the different setups and changes. That knowledge only comes from doing. Experimentation is the great teacher. But experimenting on your employers production system can be career limiting :)

i implement splunk enterprise into a kali linux machine and now when i go into the local host configuration i dont see the same navigation bar you have, what can be done ?, my licenese is free splunk enterprise 16 days trial

I've never put splunk on kali? Do you have ubuntu or another free Linux os you can put it on. I'd love to help, but I'm clueless as to what you may be facing when it's installed on kali

Do you have enterprise security? It's a paid for app in splunk. You can't just download it from the splunk store. If you don't have enterprise security, you won't have the navigation tabs I'm showing on this video. If you / your company has bought and installed enterprise security and you don't have the same navigation, that's really interesting and let me know on discord or in the comments
