I find this vector question is a bit unusual. so I decided to call it as kbat question and make a video to explain about it. I hope this short video can help you understand better about this topic.

Actually since the magnitude of vectors r and t are the same. extending the t vector would act as the diameter of a circle (also the hypotenuse of the large triangle) . The opposite angle of the diameter is 90 degrees. Thus, the solution for this can be simply done by Pythagoras Theorem: |r+t|=sqrt( (2*13)^2 - (18)^2 )

Yup. Its become a right angle in a circle. Can solve using pyhtgoras theorem👍👍
