I have a dilemma with Jody. I LOVE her and I want her in tons of episodes BUT I know that the more episodes she's in the more likely she is going to die. I'm so nervous with every episode that she is going to die.

@@lucyksh after season 5 the show wasn't that popular and was going to be cancelled. however they noticed that a certain group of people, the tumblr audience, gave the best promo for the show. they where organized and mobilized and promoted it like no other fandom of any other show. so they decided to cater to that crowd and have been catering to the tubmlr, instagram, and twitter audience ever since. 80% female audience. mostly tween and teen

Bobby was supposed to be a one episode character?!?!?! That’s so shocking! I thought they knew from season 1 that they were going to give the boys a surrogate father figure once they killed John. Jody was obviously supposed to be a one episode character, as evidenced by how wild her arc has been, from small time SD cop to frickin badass hunter with 4 adopted daughters. But I’m so glad both of them stayed around for as long as they did. And if they kill Jody I’m gonna throw hands

There are very few female characters in this show and I'm constantly thinking they will be killed. What I hate are female characters that are brought to the story as romantic interests because they feel forced.

3:50 - 6:01 has nothing to do with the "men" of the show being uncomfortabe with "dealing" with women. It has to do with the fact that you need a written concent to tell a woman she's cute, or it's rape... This is where we are now, like it or not. Men can't tell women, no matter the circumstances, she looks nice. To be fair, some may say "you're fucking hot", but that's still not sexual assault, nor sexual harassment, that's usualy a drunken man talking to a MAYBE slightly less drunken woman. Also, the question "... strong female?" keeps coming up. Has there ever been any WEAK female on the show?

Just a difference of opinion. Most of my friends that watch the show can't stand her either. Not all, but most. One thing that really irks me I think is the way she over plays her accent, just so hammy. I've heard her speak in interviews and conventions, she nowhere near that same level of odd pronunciation and vowel dragging.
