I sometimes feel very out of place watching these videos. I am a middle aged married straight male who is disabled. And most of the fan base for the show is young women. I just enjoy the hell out of the show and I really like watching the boys at these conferences. No pretension and funny. Thanks for posting this video. And BTW> Love reading the comments also!

I just felt compelled to write u after reading ur post. I thought there’s prob no straight guys that watch the show esp middles aged. (I’m past middle unless 54 is middle aged these days lol oh & a woman...lol). But I’m glad u wrote what u did. Don’t be ashamed of it. It happens to be a great show with great acting, lol scenes and humor in their storylines. . And seems like these guys & their wives & families r the real deal. Actual human beings. Not Hollywood celebs who seem so phony. I’m gonna be so upset when this show ends. And I’d like to go to at least 1 convention & meet them. But I’m glad u shared how u like the show too. And keep watching and loving it. The Supernatural family truly doesn’t judge. Not just us fans but the whole cast & crew really care about people; esp fans! God bless you.

Don't worry about that - what I've heard is the demographic of fans that go to the conventions is quite different than the demographic of the entire group of fans that watch the show - a lot more guys watch the show than you'd think from watching the conventions, so you really don't need to feel out. And in any case, this cast is an amazing group of people, and that's something that anyone can like.

Naw man, I am 51, male, straight and disabled as well and I love the show. I think it is written very well for a male audience and I am sure there are many of us that watch it. Guns, knives, blood, classic cars, classic rock and hot female characters, its hard to go wrong with that. What isn't to love? The fact that the scripts and actors are good are just a bonus. And more than that I love these guys as people. I love the way they interact and joke with their fans. You can tell they really do care and enjoy themselves. Reminds me alot of the cast of Firefly and how they treat their fans. I wouldnt mind going to one these things but I probably never will because of the cost and I have social anxiety. Being at a convention would be a nightmare for me. Now if they ever came to a small venue in Michigan I might go.

My daughter and I had been looking forward to that con for months and she could not believe she met the boys; and spoke to them at their panel. So her name is Emily, she was the first Emily that got to ask her question. We never thought we would meet them...so we are grateful that we had the opportunity to. For those that say they will never meet the boy's, don't give up on your dream to.

I have to admit, when they were talking about fears from movies, I instantly thought of mine. SPN season 1 episode 5 "Bloody Mary". I was 12 turning 13 when SPN came out and to this day since then I can not be in a room that has a mirror in it with the light turned off. If i'm in a room that has a mirror, the light HAS to be on otherwise I have a full on panic attack it's horrible lol anyone else get a fear from supernatural?

OMG same. Since my friends told me about Bloody Mary when I was like 10-11 years old I can not look into a mirror when its dark or when you can barely see something. Thats the only reason why I don't have a mirror in my room, it makes me feel so uneasy, I wouldn't be able to sleep. Supernatural thankfully kinda took that fear away a bit when twy killed her 😂

I know everybody's probably going to be mad at me but my first experience at Comic-Con for Syracuse with Supernatural I was a little disappointed why do we have to be like with second class I was general admission I'm sorry I wanted to move up there was nobody at the other seats I could have done it I would like to take pictures why can't I have to see and take I just was hurt because I'm 52 and I and II took so long my uncle took me there my boyfriend was there I really wanted to have the full experience
