One day, I was polishing out the drip rails that go over the doors on my 79 Chevy C20 on a 10" spiral buffing wheel. My buddy asked if parts ever go flying..........well, right after that a rail got caught and bent. I hammered it out and it looked pretty good for a daily driver. Years later, he would say "I see a little bend in the drip rail on this side of the truck!" I am ocd and picky, but it looked good enough that no one noticed it, but he KNEW it was there and had to rub it in. I would respond, "You fucker!" LOL I literally laughed when Cleetus was playing with the chocks and teasing Jackstand, and it takes quite a bit to make me laugh.

They didn’t stick the block in it too make big power gains hints why they switched too meth kinda the same deal keep air temps down as well keep the motor cool.. the thing gets abused every time it’s started. But I totally agree with what you are saying but it’s not built too drag race. They built the perfect car too do major burnouts for long periods of time 100%
