with the blazer, have a look into an alternator with a freewheel pulley, its like a sprag, it reduces shock loads on the belt and will keeo it on from harsh rpm changes (rev limiters, fuel cut and so on)

I saw that coupling on one of the last videos and thought to myself i hope that they put a bead around that pipe, I remember mike finnegan in one of his first episodes did a nice demonstration on a small bead rolling machine he had purchased, Probably not a bad investment.
