Watching Cleeter drive is a pleasure. The man’s got talent
@russellharper30272 жыл бұрын
You gotta race where the track is, which is constantly changing. That’s usually on the top at Bristol. You can enter a few feet below the cushion (although it’s not much of a cushion, mostly just the top) and then slide up to it. If you can do much to tighten the car up and gain some drive, you can sometimes enter in the lower-middle, rotate early, then drive the car to the bottom making a late apex and making the straightaway as long as possible. Doesn’t always work, and you need a car that’s tight enough to do it, but it can be fast and is also a great passing line option.

our car is set up like that 'Diamond' the track it works best on dry slick track which that one looks like it is doing.
@russellharper30272 жыл бұрын
@@supercrew63 For sure. I should have mentioned, you have to hit whatever moisture there is on the bottom on corner exit with at least the left sides, and if there isn't anything there it won't usually work, unless the top is that slick or far around. We raced non wing 410s and midgets for years, and they have a lot of setup potential, which I'm guessing these guys have less of. It was always fun to set it up on kill to attack the middle and drive off the bottom and snooker the guys busting their ass on the top. Of course the top was fun too.

Madi “come on honey, don’t suck” lmao. The best. What a supportive wife, cares just as much Cleeter for every race.

Cleetus you have some skills brother. For a first time race on dirt you have shown you got talent. For a moment I thought I was watching Days of Thunder.

This is something I never thought I'd see on the channel. Us Midwest boys are here for it!

Great battle with the 73 before the caution. Veteran taking the smoother more precise line, vs rookie just blasting the bald eagles diving into every corner. I think 73 was just sipping on his macchiato with one hand on the wheel while Cleeter was fighting that track with every muscle in his body

There's a reason they don't hang brand new fenders on those dirt cars, so don't feel bad, Cleet!

Used to work at Sharon Speedway in Hartford Ohio, I had a 77 ram charger push truck sitting on 4 sprint car tires which was great for packing the track in reverse rotation. That's the Blaney's hometown and their track.

Hell ya Brother!! Rubbins racing!!! It's tough to fight through a tight field when you are the faster person. The other guys always seem to brake too early and it totally throws your timing off. It happens to the best of us!!! Good luck tonight Brother!!!!!

Damn Cleet is just having the time of his life! Awesome FPV video, I almost feel like I’m riding in the car with him. Just patch it up and get back out there!

Great job out there. Now I want to see the vid of you in the HTF Super Late Model, seeing as they announced you would be turning some test laps. Come on Cleet don't leave us hungin' man.

I don’t know if it has ever been pointed out, but if it has, I apologize. The closed auto captioning that KZbin does for Cleetus is hilarious. Every video, during the intro, when he says “The Cleetus McFarland KZbin Channel” it randomly says things. This video was “Policeman foreign KZbin Channel”! It’s hilarious. I’m always excited to see what it’s going to be.

All o saw of you from the first night coverage was the spin. But you held you own once you figured it out. Hopefully the HTF supermod laps went well too.

Cleetus did a lot better than i assumed he would. Now what you need to do is turn your racetrack into a world class dirt track and HOST these type events.

You are just a racing machine. That is so cool. There isn't a type of racing you don't like. I hope someday your racing Bristol as a professional just don't stop drag racing. I think it's the best. Hell yeah brother doing it for Dale.🇺🇸💪
