Also Taemin was 11 years old when they met him or younger so to them he was a kid they had to protect. Back then there were only three or four young kids in Kpop as I remember and Taemin was the youngest out of all of them, Minhwan of FT island said I was the youngest till Taemin got here, Minhwan debuted in 2007, so Taemin was the kid they have to look cherish, on top of that he is really lovable and he wasn't a bratty kid and he was very vulnerable and somehow naive... They all formed a very protective circle around him.

They always took him to school, 4 of them and Key even prepared his lunch and Uniform. He is adored by all of them and the industry too. He would always be that golden maknae of KPoP till the end. They practically raised them like their son themselves being young too. Therefore Taemin is still so lovable.

SHINee is a group that’s been increasingly transparent with how much planned fanservice was part of their early appearances and the difference in their dynamics as they grew together more and stopped being so concerned with that manufactured dynamic is really noticeable. But the way they react to and treat Taemin has been consistent from debut to now so I imagine that has been genuine the whole way through - Taemin is just so lovable

Taemin is the babiest baby. And he will forever be SHINee's baby. I have never seen any other group dote in their maknae the way SHINee do. And you can tell that he loves it too.
