Dad had yet to draw up the will, his bratty children waiting for their inheritance!! Mike, Stella and Barney had been pampered on end since losing mom, the insensitivity was evident!! Mike definitely loved his foster Dad while the biological children had malice inside their heart, not really caring at all!! This dying man was never at ease, the estrangement will leave everyone without resolution and apologies!! Hold on, illumeably Fam, there's going to be a twist in it!! Hold tight!!

This reminds me of one of the Twilight Zone episodes where a wealthy old millionaire was dying, and his questionable children and grandchildren were to inherit all. Those neer-do-wells all arrived at the estate on the eve of Mardi Gras, and while they awaited his inevitable passing that night, the old man insisted the children all wear these bizarre masks to midnight, and sit in the room with him as he bluntly reads off the stipulations of the probate, which requires the greedy buffoons don the masks to midnight, and not so much as remove them, or they would face total disinheiritance. Their oppressive discomfort having to obey is overruled by their vast greed, and selfishness, and they suffer through to midnight, when the old man finally passes. The characterless family delights in the very news that they at last made it to inheritance as they throw off the masks forever 🎉 But forever hasn't yet begun; the insurmountable price tag is shown to them, and it's a horrifying nightmare. The soulless family's facial aesthetics have been FOREVER destroyed by having worn the crazy masks. 👹👺👽💀👿. And poetic justice has triumphed!
