Gosh, I'm always a big fan of the subscription box, but this might be my favorite one since the first. So pleased to get a date stamp, love the washi design, and these are absolutely my favorite journal designs from A&O. Also, such a small thing, but I absolutely love the postcard with the list of everything in the box. I keep a record of these boxes in my collections journal, so I love being able to just paste the postcard in.

There's a lot to like in this box, but I'm having a hard time drumming up my enthusiasm. I know it's a direct connection to my disappointment in not being able to get the Coffee & Books stamp set, stickers, and washi tape. They would have been the perfect complement to this set and A&O greatly underestimated the demand. I can understand not wanting to have a lot of leftovers, but these items need a re-order!!!

I love the notebooks, but I would rather see a bigger size. I was so hoping for B6 or 8x8, since the last two boxes did not have these as well. I do love the theme and I was hoping for the date stamps! And the memo pad, while I wouldn’t have minded if the gsm was lighter. Eapecially if you use it in your notebook, it’s gonna get so bulky 😅 Letter stickers are always good. Calliographs are fine, especially my favorite color ocker! 😍 The only thing I missed are bookmarks. I really expected this in this box. Binderclips are not really handy for this and I got enough of them. That said, can’t wait to receive my box! It will delivered after my holiday next week 🥰

I'm not a fan of lines. I know some people have requested lines, but they have never worked for me. I fell in love with dot grid which is much more versatile. After all, you can always draw lines, but you can't erase them. Having said that, I think A&O put the dots and lines in the wrong books. The red has dots in the cover and spine design, so it would have been more consistent in design to have the dot grid in that book. The green book has a more geometric pattern and lines on the spine, so the lines inside this one would have been a more pleasing aesthetic. I love the idea, just not the execution.

i have questions: what kind of ink are in the callios? archival? waterproof/sunproof? what about the liners from last box? and will there be refills for the roller pens (you had one in the summer box, it writes buttery smooth and is my favorite pen ever, but i'm worried i will not have anything to use it for when it dries up. also what kind of ink is it? it would be great if that info would be present somewhere in the boxes.) trying the notebooks out as sketchbooks and they are perfect, i really like how i can abuse them and they still hold up fine and don't buckle with paints or inks. it dried up nice after a big bag spillage. we will see if the elastic bands and bookmarks survive. only complaint i have is the fabric ones are magnets for cat hairs lol the big yellow one from spring is an anatomy workbook now and it's great, it's seen a lot of bodies and don't hold smells xD i'm always a bit miffed about the lined book, and it's way too bulky for the things i use lined books for, so i'll hold onto it and see. i'd like a nice, fat blank one with slightly tinted paper... but that's me.

There is one repeated color. Espresso in fall collection (just released) is the same as Umber in the Sub Box. All names are on the packaging 💕
