They’re not even finished but WOW they look gorgeous. I’m really proud of Star Stable for taking their time with these horses.. it’s obviously paying off. The chestnut pinto and palomino are my favorites by far!

@@idlydog1232 He has fooled many people with his color, including me. He actually is chestnut. At least the real life horse is. Not sure about the coat in the game. He just has a really dark mane for a chestnut (I think some call this "tostado", meaning toasted). You can tell he's chestnut by the ears that don't have a black outline at the tips. All bays have that while chestnuts don't. Also his legs are way to light to be a bay ✌

@@CookieFoxxI had to go and look that up because honestly I didn’t believe it, and I just noticed that he doesn’t actually have any black on his legs, which all bays have. Has my whole life been a lie?! 😦 Right as I thought I was a getting a really good grasp on horse colors Edit: In my research, I also learned that he is overo, no tobiano 😮

they look amazing, the only thing they could improve in my opinion is the buck and the jump landing. the gaits also remind me a bit of RDR2

Oh wow, I was originally but skeptical at first but now they're really starting to grow on me 😍 I really love that dunish coat at the beginning and also the Bay roan quite a lot. I also at first didn't really like the animations at all, and I still think they're a bit awkward looking in a lot of places, but like them better than I did before. I especially like their rearing animation though, looks very powerful! Love the shader on this video too 🥰

I really like them tbh, they have smooth gaits and such nice coats! I'll probably get 6 as it's the closest to Pilgrim from the horse whisperer imo. He's chestnut in the film, but a dark bay in the book so it'll sort of resemble him. 4's quite nice too though, like Picasso

The only thing that I highly dislike is that in canter and slow gallop the front leg never fully extends forward. It remains in this slightly bent pose like the horse is trying to dig into the ground. But overall they are very good! Can't wait to get one!

Wait. Are 1 and 8 just separate suits, or did they really decide to add Spirit? It looks interesting, but I would make the eyes a little closer to the nose, and the trot looks a little strange. Most likely due to the large size of the head. And broken front legs when he jumps. In general, really good horses!

i dont see why they have made 2 buckskin/dun coats, i know one is a buckskin and one is a dun but its not really much difference. I would have expected another different coat as mustangs have tons of variation.

The first one was a Dun, the second was a Buckskin. But yeah I get your point, the only difference between the two coats was the dorsal stripe and the frosting in the mane.

But with all that said I still love the animations and coats overall, to be honest, probably one of the most realistic animations sso has released. Maybe sso might release more coat variations like they did with the Belgian warm blood, if they see that the mustang is a well-sold/ popular breed. :)

They had planned to make a Dun and a Mealy Bay but the people were screaming for a Buckskin so they decided to make a Buckskin instead of the mealy Bay. I am pissed as well, the game is literally flooded with Buckskins. 🙄

i think all the coats but the buckskin need more shading. it feels like they only shaded the buckskin, and the other coats look half done. i also hope they fix the canter and the trott, beacuse the both the gaits are stiff and the horse almost looks lame.
