I like that you need 3 Thunder Punches to defeat him, it really makes him feel like the final boss.

I like the concept that Blunt Force Trauma pretty much has zero gimmicks beyond only going down with a full Thunder Punch meter. There's something terrifying about a boxer in a league of cartoon antics and blatant cheating methods that doesn't need to use any of them--just his fists.

Who don’t love a final boss that uses things you’ve used the whole game

My guess? He's actually not called Blunt Force Trauma and he's possibly related to Freezy Boy/Ice Cold Killer. There's another datamined unfinished character named Buster Super and he looks like a less-buff version of BFT. I think Blunt Force Trauma is what happens when Buster Super gets his HP depleted and turns into him ala Freezy Boy/ICK. Furthermore, both Ice Cold Killer and Blunt Force Trauma are menacing 3-word nicknames and not actual names, giving more similarity between the two. It would also be a nice contrast with Freezy/ICK being the likely first boss and Buster Super/BFT being the last.

So I saw an updated version of Buster Super (now called Super Roger) which disconfirms this, although he's definitely related in some way. Likely a fanboy of BFT since Super Roger also does have lightning punches and has a #1 glove.

@@EverlastingBirthday It's a combination of a few factors: big healthpool, dangerous name, dramatic theme, the fact that he seems to have thunder punches (like the player does) and compared to the other bosses he just seems to be actually just a competent fighter and not a cartoonish dude that relies on a gimmick.

@@tehrik0020 and also him absolutely TRASHING coach hank in one of the trailers, but at the same time that might mean that BFT is revealed early on for the purpose of telling the player "yeah you're gonna fight this guy at the end and punch that confidence right off his face"
