That was one of my favorite moments, and as with the garrote, I wish I could’ve seen it used even more! Ps. I’m a wee bit concerned about your mentioning of this. Fortunately, this video currently has a spoiler tag, so hopefully people will know not to watch it until they’ve seen _Parabellum._ But even so, I feel the belt scene was really meant to be a surprise, and also a neat callback to an earlier scene from the movie. I should mention that I get especially worried about stuff like this because I had people ruin several major occurrences in the film via comments that I came across before I’d had a chance to watch the film, and I definitely felt the impact of that once I saw the film. It was still a heartstopping experience overall, but I definitely felt frustration about having major elements not be as surprising or shocking as they were intended to be. Especially since I was so excited for the film and had been waiting with bated breath to see it.
