Clue trails like this are one of my fave parts of another set of book series by Matthew Reilly. He loves to leave tiny breadcrumb hints like a lot of cow feed right there from the start in front of both the heroes and the reader. A name in a list, a time that seemingly means nothing for 98% of the book. But when that final piece slots in and you realize you had the info you needed all along... no feeling like it in the world. So I adored watching Reacher continue tugging at that odd string no matter how annoyed it made the people around him.

@@philledwith8307 This is the reason. Sure he could just order truckloads of diamataceous earth, but when someone notices and then see's he has no reason for it in his legal businesses, it sets off a shitload of red flags. It's the same reason why people who make meth don't just walk into a drug store and buy a pallet of decongestants with pseudoephedrine. They space it out over time and multiple stores, because the government knows pseudoephedrine is a key component to making meth, so they watch for it being bought in large quantities.

Reacher and Neagley both thought hell of a lot of animal feed. While Roscoe got annoyed and said it had nothing to do with the case and was just animal feed. When really the animal feed was the biggest clue to the case. That’s why they’re special investigators.

And why Roscoe is just a sheriff 😭😭😭😭😭😭honestly with all the clues she was ignoring I was surprised to hear how she was recruited by the FBI and central intelligence I mean I already figured when she said gray killed himself that he didn't he was killed and how long it took her to figure it out her observation skills aren't sharp and she's not really an outside the box thinker
@dx7689
@dx7689 3 жыл бұрын
I think she was lying about being recruited cause she was trying to act like she could keep up with him. When really she couldn’t. Honestly the Reacher and Finley scenes were much better. I couldn’t stand Roscoe. Her walking up to the mayor and attacking him because she can’t control her emotions after finding out grey was murdered. She basically advertised that she knew the mayor was in on things. Finley played it cool most of the time. He may have threatened to beat the crap out of Kilmer but that was just him not takin s*** from him which I applaud.

@@dx7689 OMFG YEESSSS!!!!!!!!! it pissed me off soooo BAD when she attacked the mayor I was yelling like you f****** idiot now he knows you know something and when they were in the car and Finley was trying to tell her to keep her emotions in check he understood her anger but you gotta be smart about it and she didn't that was honestly my last straw and when I realized she was bull**** about the whole FBI thing because how are you just a sheriff and this blind I mean finley didn't like reacher at first but he played it smart I think its because she probably wasn't on the job long but I'm not a cop and I smelled the s*** out way before even Picard there was something goofy about him
@dx7689
@dx7689 3 жыл бұрын
@@RR-dg1rj oh yeah the thing with Picard when they kept sayin “Don’t take the job” alarms were goin off in my mind. But Roscoe everything pissed me off about her since her first scene. Saying she won’t come over and kick his ass, I was on the floor laughing my ass off goin yeah let’s see that. And when she gets pissed at reacher after her home gets broken into and she’s like she’s pissed and not some fragile thing. Reacher has scene a lot of things during his time in the service. He’s understandable for some guys and women to need to vent or cry or something because of the stuff they’re dealing with. So her saying all that s*** to him that’s an insult to what those people were goin through. And she just plays it off like she’s this badass. The only female badass was Neagley. I think they should do a spin off with her. Everything about her was awesome. She was cool from beginning to end.

@@dx7689 neagley was everything 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾I LOVED her character and she could actually fight my favorite scene is when that guy was getting too handsy in the strip club and she went over there gave him a nice little whooping I would definitely watch a series about her the way she was is what Roscoe thinks she's doing Roscoe should look into some lessons I was so confused like how are you a cop I could do this job and Picard I'm like why not I mean he lost his wife the love of his life and wants to get away any real friend would've supported that but I caught on when Roscoe took over when they were in the woods and those people showed up I'm like okay its confirmed he's definitely shady because how did they know where you were and RIGHT AFTER HE LEAVES they magically show up I can't believe nobody was suspicious about him especially Roscoe don't get me wrong he had me fooled until that scene I'm like he has to be dirty because how are they finding this out something ain't right in the butter milk all of a sudden coming after them when he leaves was a big neon sign nobody showed up or had any issues until AFTER he left and no one caught that I mean come on people.
