I couldn't find a video to show how to finish off a bracelet. I tried several techniques and each one frustrated me so much! My mouth hung open as I watched your technique. Thank you so, so much for this video!! I love my loom and would play on it all day if I could lol. But with the frustration of tying it off I just went to free hand weaving my beads. But will be going back to my loom now!!

Hello from Florida, USA! ending the bracelet with woven threads is a better idea I think. I've tried flattening the ribbon crimp over a row of beads, ended up crushing beads and making a mess. Thank you for this tutorial. Romans 10:9-13; John 3:16-21

Thank you for the video. Very clear instructions. I am almost finished my second bracelet. On the first one I glued the ends but they didn't stay. After I had them glued & trimmed up, the weaved parts fell off. I'm not sure if my glue wasn't good or what. So far I have glued the one end & tomorrow I will check it. When it is finished is it sturdy? It doesn't pull apart?
@sararichardson53502 жыл бұрын
I used to try to make bracelets using this exact loom but never figured out how to fasten the ends. Mine would always come apart. I've sorta given up on them since and been sticking with my macrame. I've never seen this technique before am now want to try it out! Thank you!!!

My ribbon clamp keeps cutting my thread after awhile after being attached.Is there a way I can avoid this? I use Nymo size D thread.If I use fishing line instead would this fix the problem?
@SpoiltRottenBeadsTV6 жыл бұрын
Hiya Sharifa, You could stop this problem by using a piece of ultrasuede to cover your threads on the ends of the bracelet before you add the ribbon clamps - just glue the threads inbetween a piece of ultrasuede or leather and then use the ribbon clamps. Best wishes Juliet

Could i use embroidery thread for the warp threads and make a sliding knot clasp similar to a shambala bracelet closure?
@SpoiltRottenBeadsTV8 жыл бұрын
Hi Deuwayne, Yes I think that would work for you very well - it would give a chunky look and you'd need to incorporate all of the warp threads into the sliding knot.

Do you need to wax or condition your thread? I keep splitting the threads when I weave through the beads.
@SpoiltRottenBeadsTV6 жыл бұрын
Hiya Melissa, If you wax your thread you will find that it splits less easily. I'd recommend using S-Lon D with your loom as it seems to work really well and doesn't split easily either.
@erinwoods42176 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much!! So do I need to buy Thread Heaven or Bees wax? AND do I get a spool or a bobbin of S-Lon D? You are so helpful I just want to use my new Rick's beading loom I got for Christmas. I keep getting hooked up on the 2nd row and have to start all over. Thank you Thank you!!
@SpoiltRottenBeadsTV6 жыл бұрын
@@erinwoods4217 Hi Melissa, I'm afraid they have stopped making Thread Heaven any more so it would need to be beeswax to condition the thread. Have fun with your loom!
